I have been fighting with the 810A for the past week with their support and they have been focused on different stream sizes. After reading this thread I tried the following;
Used the ReoLink Model H.265 RTSP setting for the camera without the Decoder compatibility mode setting and ensured using the reolink windows client that the interframe space is set to 1 for both the clear and fluent streams
Using the ReoLink Model H.265 RTSP setting versus the Generic/ONVIF, has resulted in much better fps and the key frame rate imporoved from between 0.25 to 0.33, close to 1 as shown below. The system CPU utilization is lower and the recordings no longer pixelate or go all grey and it seems to be capturing all images, unlike before.
My only issue is the alerts only play back around 7-9 fps so they are a little choppy

Reolink 810a camera with 3.0.0.494_21073003 FW loaded (latest on ReoLink site)

Statistics: Posted by pspeers — Fri Dec 31, 2021 10:50 pm

Struggling with the RLC820, I love the Image Quality and Night Vision is amazing!! but Deepstack alerts only seem to work 25% of the time, I was able to get the Main/Sub stream working and both show an avg of 13-15fps in BI. I copied the camera profile when adding from another camera that is working perfect yet Deepstack doesn't show most motions alerts in the log file.

Camera is on my Porch showing the front door/lawn/driveway, I walked out of the house to the car and within seconds got an alert. Great! I got home pulled car in driveway walked in and nothing. My Deepstack alerts are setup for person only just like my other cameras that work 95% of the time for alerts. This is great. I've downloaded for my 820A and will install immediately. But I have a slightly OT question: I also have a 520. Is the 1sec iframe upgrade likely to be released for other cameras (specifically the 520)?
Statistics: Posted by CAL7 — Wed Aug 25, 2021 3:43 pm

I have six 822's, and have been spending the last few days going through settings and tips and firmwares and finally stumbled on a red herring that was tripping me up. I hope I save someone else as much time as I wasted as it was painfully simple and probably nothing wrong with Reolink. It could be that I had secondary issues that I fixed using the settings that sbaker1106 provided, but I sure didn't notice until fixing this other issue.

Under the Camera's tab of the main BI settings is a setting that limits the refresh rate while using Remote Desktop. My Blue Iris computer is tucked away in a closet, I purely connect to it via RDP. So when I changed the setting from 5-sec update to Unrestricted, I noticed massive improvements.

To be clear, I'm using sbaker1106's posted settings, and the latest firmware that MrE alerted us to, the .450 firmware disguised as .250 released 20/08/21.

So far, my setup is running really really well, thanks @sbaker1106 for your guide.
Statistics: Posted by jiddahidda — Mon Aug 23, 2021 3:41 am

It seems that firmware 3.0.0.412 has solved all the video dropouts and stuttering with my 810A and it works well with BI5 single stream, however duel stream is still a problem. I have tried many options, but I still get video dropouts and stuttering duel stream. I am writing new video to an SSD drive that never exceeds 20% utilization, my CPU seldom hits 50% utilization, and my network never exceeds 15% utilization. Does anyone have this camera working duels steam with BI5? If so, can you share your config?
Statistics: Posted by pilot2 — Thu Aug 12, 2021 12:17 am

There is a new firmware on Reolink page - 3.0.0.412 dated 14/7/2021. It solved my problems with dropping frames to below 2 ps and disconnecting. I have it now running for 6 hrs and I still have "no singnal"=0. There is also an option to adjust key frames frequency now. It seems that my 810a is working OK for the first time
Statistics: Posted by mkw — Wed Jul 21, 2021 11:27 am
