<span style="font-size:150%;line-height:116%">Introduction</span><br><br>This article documents tips and tricks based off of past tickets.<br><br><span style="font-size:150%;line-height:116%">Tips and Tricks</span><br><br><strong class="text-strong">Case 1:  Move recordings</strong><div style="margin-left:3em"><br>This tip is about moving recordings for whatever reason.  You may have purchased a new drive etc.<br><br>Temporarily stop recordings.  Easiest way to do so is to turn the Shield to red.<br>By doing so, the database and recording files are not being accessed by BI.<br><br>Create a folder in the Clips and archiving tab pointing to the new storage.  In my example, I created Aux 3.<br><br><div class="inline-attachment"><dl class="file"><dt class="attach-image"><img src="https://blueirissoftware.com/forum/download/file.php?id=2096" class="postimage" alt="storage tips_gotcha 1.png" onclick="viewableArea(this);" /></dt></dl></div><br>Move files to Aux3.
