UI3 group camera aspect ratio in 5.4+

Is there a way to have UI3 revert back to the old (<5.4) group layout, where it would manipulate the aspect ratio of cameras to get it to fill the window? I've experimented with all the settings I can find in the UI and nothing seems to get it to behave the way it used to.

Very confusing, but it seems to have accomplished the goal
