Looking at the allocation graphs is a good starting point. Note if you have "New" and "Stored" on the same drive you are wasting resources and IAmATeaf will admonish you
Statistics: Posted by TimG — Fri Feb 23, 2024 6:39 pm

Under Blue Iris Setting; Storage; select each and check; New, Stored, Alerts, and any other you may have set up and see how much space you have allocated for each next to GB. Add those figures together and total should add up to < total space on hard drive. e.g. 300gb hdd, New folder = 100gb, Stored = 150gb, Alerts 10gb. This will get rid of that over allocated message.
Statistics: Posted by MrBloo — Fri Feb 23, 2024 5:37 pm

See my post here.

In addition, we were just notified that BI lost the config of 2 cameras and it appears that at least 1 camera config was placed onto another camera. Could DB corruption cause that?

DB corruption is usually just errors rather than moving data elsewhere. Just wondering - have you exempted the BI5 folders from anti-virus scan as detailed in the Help file ? (Search for "SECURITY SOFTWARE EXEMPTIONS."). And do you have the Log file writing to a text file ? It only makes one file per month, and it may show something when it attempts to move files. It's much better than the standard Log, as that amalgamates similar errors rather than leaving them in time related positions.
Statistics: Posted by TimG — Sat Sep 02, 2023 9:21 am

I've moved the DB to the 3TB and performed another repair. I also found one camera had 5 months of videos still in the New folder and never rotated over. I've moved that video footage out.
