I am attempting to backup files to a linux host using SFTP. I am able to send files, but they all end up in the user home directory on the host. For example, my user “adminuser” home dir is /home/adminuser. I want to put the files in the /clips directory. When I perform a test, the file ends up in the /home/adminuser directory. I think whats happening is the software is attempting to create/check that the directory is there, but when uploading the file, it ignores the path.<br><br>I have emailed support 4 days ago and have not received any response or reply.<br><div class="inline-attachment"><dl class="file"><dt class="attach-image"><img src="https://blueirissoftware.com/forum/download/file.php?id=2862" class="postimage" alt="ftp_config.jpg" onclick="viewableArea(this);" /></dt></dl></div>After testing, you can see that the ftptest.txt file was placed in my home directory, not the /clips directory.<br><div class="inline-attachment"><dl class="file"><dt class="attach-image"><img src="https://blueirissoftware.com/forum/download/file.php?id=2863" class="postimage" alt="sshd_log.jpg" onclick="viewableArea(this);" /></dt></dl></div>My sshd logs confirm that blueiris tries to create the folder (but fails since it already exists). I have tried this without the folder already created and all it does is create the folder and then upload the file to the home directory.<br><div class="inline-attachment"><dl class="file"><dt class="attach-image"><img src="https://blueirissoftware.com/forum/download/file.php?id=2861" class="postimage" alt="dir_listing.jpg" onclick="viewableArea(this);" /></dt></dl></div>When I manually sftp a file, I can see my session change to the correct directory and upload the file.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://blueirissoftware.com/forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=6192">hokiefan</a> — Fri Sep 29, 2023 2:58 pm</p><hr />
