I removed pre-trigger images and it seem to use less cpu now and BI don't crashes anymore.
Statistics: Posted by jeremypsl — Sat Jul 06, 2024 3:40 pm

If it was a problem with CPAI Server settings, it will be the CodeProject.AI.Server.exe process with high CPU usage right ?

This is my settings for detection :

Statistics: Posted by jeremypsl — Thu Jul 04, 2024 11:21 am

Have you tried using the .Net module, some people have reported that it uses less CPU than the CUDA solution. You don't mention how many triggers you have per minute. I am not an expert on this by any means
Statistics: Posted by BruceH — Tue Jul 02, 2024 12:17 am

Hello !

I have a problem with BI, lastest version, but it's been a while i have this behavior.
I run BI + CodeProject AI Server on an I7-10700 + RTX3070, 20x 3MP cam, everything is setup by following some guides of optimizations.
It works fine except the CPU usage when there is multiple triggers at the same time.
CPU can go to 1-2% with no trigger to 80% with multiple triggers.
This is happening only with the AI activated and this is BlueIris.exe the problem, not CodeProject.AI.Server.exe.
I don't understand why this is happening because the detection use CUDA, not the CPU.

Thanks.
Statistics: Posted by jeremypsl — Tue Jun 11, 2024 7:12 pm
