That is how clones are supposed to work. So BI is only pulling single streams for the main and substream and the clone is making use of that.

As you’ve found it’s quite easy to de-clone a clone by changing some parameters in which the clone is then pulling its own stream so the benefits and saving of the clone are then lost.

I'm running a single clone and using the main stream only from the main camera. The numbersbetween the two are nearly identical in my particular case.

I created the clone by directly copying the main camera. No Clone Master or any other clone options involved. Simply an exact copy of the main camera, just a different name.

Then I disabled the copied main camera settings that didn't apply and set the clone up accordingly for its intended purpose..., basically as a precision Pushover alert trigger for my driveway entrance. The main camera handles the normal recording and realtime surveillance stuff.

Works well.

No Bitrate for cloned camera

I have a camera MyCam3 that I cloned MyCam3a and it does not show a bitrate for the Primary or Substream

Here is the config for the video

If I replace the Sub with the main stream then the bitrate for both the Main and Sub will populate on the Status screen???

Any thoughts on what is going on?
