I, strange things push notification ios blocked be bitdefender. I have updated bitdefender on my blue iris win10 server and paquets for ios push notification outgoing well by my pfsense router and communicate with blue iris servers!!! But from at least June 2024, it stop to work. Iphone receive geolocation push notification but not alerts push notification.

Anybody had succes to make it work and how he proccess to do that. Thanks.

Ditto.

I used Bitdefender for years. I saw it get more an more resource heavy for what it was supposed to be doing along with packaging all the external bloatware crap I had no interest in.

Finally ditched it in favor of Windows Defender and haven't looked back..., and regained an appreciable level of performance as well.

Windows Defender these days is good enough, if you are paying for BitDefender I personally would save some money.

Bitdefender blocking push notifications

Hi,

My Bitdefender Antivirus Plus has been blocking push notifications to iPhone App the past 3 weeks. Bitdefender support today confirmed there is an issue and that they will try to fix as soon as they can. It's in the Web security module which cannot be disabled by the user interface, as other modules can be disabled. The only solution currently is to uninstall BD.
I will update this group once they have resolved it.
