Re: Stand Alone User Manual?

bigoreilles wrote: Sun Apr 19, 2020 10:40 am Hi,
I don't know if this user manual is the same in blue iris, but this is the link I found.
That is very out of date, a lot has changed since that user manual and abot 40 pages added since.
The built in user manual is the best option as is kept up to date.

Re: Register license?

don't worry, found out it just means adding your name and email to the about page.
not going to do that though, don't know why the sudden urge to enter this info has appeared
since i had to supply a name and email when purchasing the software.

Re: live view lag, recording is fine

have you tried unchecking the 'limit decoding unless required' to see if the lag goes away?
was it laggy before you changed this?

Re: Direct to Disk recording

i use direct to disc only for some cameras, the more important i don't.
sometimes playback is glitchy and probaby 10% come up as file not found on playback when i use direct to disc.

Re: How many releases is it possible to do in a single week ?

For example, free ALPR/ANPR anybody ? Free for up to 2500 Lookups/month anyway, which should be enough for a home user. Go to a cameras settings/ Trigger/ Artificial Intelligence, and click on "Learn More" for Plate Recognizer. Has anybody tried it ? Have not had any success with it yet, ...
