Good to see you getting into POE and not trying to depend too much on WYZE

Digital Zoom
Does the Blue Iris maximum digital zoom have a specific factor like 25x, etc.?
The importance of this is only for my knowledge.
Thanks to all of you guys for sharing your knowledge.

Re: Blue Iris drops Wyze V2 video, won't reconnect
I cant seem to get the xxxx.41 update from wyze as I misplaced mine. I do have the 4.28.4.40 and will get it to you if you want it. I have no experience with BI4 as I bought version 5 after getting the WYZE bug and have moved to POE cameras. BI is a slow learning experience and I really like it.

Re: Blue Iris drops Wyze V2 video, won't reconnect
My Wyze cams are running on the 4.28.4.40 demo.bin except for one on the .41 bin. A couple days ago I checked on updates and could not even find the above to download. In setting up on BI, I entered the IP, name and password and clicked the FIND/INSPECT button and let it fill in the blanks but had t...

Re: Blue Iris drops Wyze V2 video, won't reconnect
This is not a Blue Iris problem. I have 4 Wyze2 cams running ( sometimes) on BI with 2 Amcrest Wifi cams and 10 standard IP cams with no issues what so ever. Wyze RTSP is no longer supported by Wyze because its hardware cannot handle RTSP and their main goal which is P2P. Pretty much any Wifi cams s...

Re: Playback Speed
For fast forward, click on the right highlighted area. The further to the right, the faster the playback. Same goes for playing in reverse on the left side.

Re: Camera randomly drops, won't reconnect
Thanks to my past infatuation of Wyze Cams I purchased Blue Iris and very happy I did but only because I have moved on to POE IP cameras. The connection drops is very very common and well know and the Wyze team is not working on resolving this issue and have not released an RTSP update in quite a wh...

Re: configuration please
I assume you have tried the ONVIF (oxml) setting under the PTZ setup. I have only had good success with 1 cheap PTZ and that was an AMCREST ProHD IP2M-841B using default settings and the PTZ setting above. I have a few Dahua (US and China) cams with zoom and frequently have to go through the list an...
