I've been getting that also, along with when it does load clicking on any alerts causes UI3 to crash with an error message.

Same problem here, just posted about it, not sure whats going on though. I have version 5.4.9.18 and it runs great, let it update to the latest 5.5.1.16 and it just goes all to heck...

BINGO!!! The Motion Zones box was unchecked on ALL of my cameras for some reason since the update. I went through there a dozen times and didn't notice that because it was all grayed out, checked the Motion Zones check box and now the camera i was testing with is creating alerts again. Nobody??? I searched through the forums, google searched, and emailed BlueIris Support, so far no reply from them and i can't find anything online that fixes it.
