Re: Unexpected behaviour cut video

After a night with recordings just doing as told, also for the Active profile I decreased the clip duration limit to 5,5 hours, because otherwise triggered recordings after 5:30 but before 8:00 AM are appended to continous night recordings, probably because the default time limit of 8 hours for prof...

Unexpected behaviour cut video

I've setup a few camera's to record continous from 0:00 to 05:30. To prevent these recordings from absorbing a large part of the available drive space, I fastforward the clips and if nothing strange appears, just delete them. To just throw away the nightly recordings and leave the possibly combined ...

One of my camera's is 4 MP, the rest 2 MP, all running @ 10 FPS, and also a very humble monitor.

Re: Missing very obvious motions

How to trial run clips for motion detection: https://blueirissoftware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=580 I will surely play around with this option CPU sounds right, but used memory seems low. Maybe I run a poorly configured Win10 but I couldn’t imagine a plain install of win10 alone using that little m...

Re: Missing very obvious motions

CPU/RAM is about 30%/1,3 GB, so it runs like a charm. I haven’t played with it, but I’m fairly sure you can take a clip and run it through the trigger settings to see how it should have triggered at different settings. What makes you think so? Would be great if it is so, though. Found it: In the pl...

Re: Missing very obvious motions

Hi, I am using BI with ten camera's for a few weeks now and have noticed some astonishing missing movements. Even with the motion sensor adjusted at full sensitivity. As I have said before, the power of BI5 is that you can adjust everything. A double edged sword, as that also makes it easy to break...

Re: Missing very obvious motions

A hoped for easy fix is to Uncheck “limit decoding unless required” in the camera settings. With that checked BI only analyzes for motion the key frames coming in. Depending on your camera this can be several seconds. My Reolink cameras have a fixed 0.25 key FPS as I recall. So it only looked every...

Missing very obvious motions

I am using BI with ten camera's for a few weeks now and have noticed some astonishing missing movements. Even with the motion sensor adjusted at full sensitivity. For instance: - A white van driving by, seen at the roof, filling al large portion of the screen, which isn't detected; - Several recordi...

Re: Scheduling activate cam and then deactivate

I agree with you. Instead of the option "Triggered + continuous each" (in Camera settings > Record) I would have expect something like "Triggered + scheduled". (Why on earth would one like to record a few seconds every ten minutes?). Searching for "scheduled recording"...
