Re: My server PC

Hi nbobz, that's a serious pc !

Another multi purpose pc that runs well. What has the ipcamstalks [sic] child got against them ?

Do you remember why you use Splashtop instead of Teamviewer ? I use Splashtop too, but couldn't remember which feature dragged me in initially !

Re: deleted Version 5, Version 4 keeps asking for a license. License doesn't work. Any ideas?

Hi shiggs68, If you read the original post, he uninstalled Version 5. That makes it a little hard to input the license there. Thank you for your insult. I would suggest you try ipcamstalk where you will be welcomed by like minded people. My suggestion implied that he should re-install BI5 to see if ...

Re: BI VERSION 5 ALERT SOUNDS

Yup, finger trouble there. BI5 is the latest version

So do all of your cameras have the alert sounds set up the same way in BI5 settings - but some don't work ?

Re: UI3 performance in BI5

By the "web interface", do you mean UI3 ? If so you can reduce the resolution being shown by clicking on the cog wheel at the bottom right hand side. It doesn't affect recording, and you can always increase it if you need to see something. I have it set to 720p, and everything looks fine.

Re: CPU Usage when window open

If BI5 is similar to BI4, then there was a setting for that. I think the BI4 demo also prevented you from recording direct to disk too, which also puts up CPU loading. OK, have a look at the general settings/ Cameras. In there is "Limit Live Preview rate ( Does not affect recordings)" whic...

Re: Previous working Version 4

Hi, Please see my post in "deleted Version 5, Version 4 keeps asking for a license. License doesn't work. Any ideas?". I think your BI4 licence has been changed by installing BI5. If you don't have the support plan or a valid BI5 licence, then I think you will have to wait for support to g...

Re: JSON commands not being set when Alert is triggered

Hi, My BI5 json commands to turn Homeseer Pro 3 lights on when BI5 detects motion look like this, and they are working: 192.168.0.2/JSON?request=controldevicebyvalue&ref=222&value=100 Hmm, you didn't put the "http://" bit in did you ? That part is already in the selector http/https...

Re: Blue Iris Rulez !

I have some more feedback on the original theft. I assumed that the thief would be walking around with a single security screwdriver in his pocket, looking for RING doorbells, then quickly and carefully removing them for re-sale on Ebay. The poor house owner responded: Tim : nothing as subtle as tha...

Android TV client (Leanback)

How many people here are interested in a proper "Android TV" client for Blue Iris ? No more sideloading the standard android version, and struggling with that. I have asked Ken if it is possible, and he didn't say no. What I think it needs is to find out how many people would want it if it...
