Re: TP-Link Tapo Cameras
'Spcific method' was referring to what actual platform/method was being used; the Tapo/Amcrest vendor-based method for each camera, or Blue Iris..., and whether the Action set was from the Trigger or Alert tab with any associated options from either. I now see how you have it set up for the most par...

Re: The video stream was lost version 5.9.2x
Where is this folder and how is the mp4 being created? Strange ... the filename and location that appeared in the dialog you posted earlier doesn't match with the filename format that your camera screen shot shows? When you look at your folders new, storage and alerts, are the files in the right fol...

Re: TP-Link Tapo Cameras
Had problem with trigger/alert/recording tabs till I finally got them working. Welcome aboard. Yeah, there's a lot to unpack there right out of the gate. Sounds like you got a handle on it fairly quickly. ...the image sent along with email trigger notification. The image seem to be massive with scr...

Re: The video stream was lost version 5.9.2x
I did verify that the files are on the path and are also able to view them with windows media play. Any ideas? I glanced over that and it sorta answers my original question. Something appears to be hosed up in your original encoding. Use Direct-to-Disk and save the files in BVR format. They should ...

Re: The video stream was lost version 5.9.2x
I have been running Blue Iris since version 3.66 many years ago and have only ever used direct to disk with BVR file format. The question was for the OP. .....if you want to save video clips to send to third parties for any reason , you do have to export to mp4 . Conversion and export from BVR is n...

Re: Config/resource goof.
I did not have any luck locating individual camera hardware decoder. HW Decode.jpg BI background activity is by far the largest user per Task Manager for CPU and RAM. I went though and cut back on bandwidth for each camera already, to the point it's lost a lot of picture quality just trying to figu...

Re: Massive Memory Usage
There is not any option to disable pre-trigger settings ... No option to enable or disable an option . Brilliant. In fact the pre-trigger settings can be set to 0.0 (in 5.8.9.3 anyway) which should at least negate their functionality and possible contribution to the problem..., but with the buffer ...
