Re: Camera Roatation
We didn't ask what type of camera it is ! Oh well, did you fix it ? The comment to do it in the camera gui (if it has that functionality) is the best one.

Re: deleted Version 5, Version 4 keeps asking for a license. License doesn't work. Any ideas?
Hi vlasllow, That sounds like one for email support support@blueirissoftware.com I know that BI5 uses the BI4 licence, and then the BI4 licence is no longer valid, and it sounds like you have triggered this. Have you tried adding your licence to BI5 to see if that works ? BI5 is working very well he...

Re: My server PC
I've never run VM's. What is the advantage of them over putting everything into my single Win10 installation ? It's interesting that the child at ipcamstalk [sic] always states that BI should be on its own pc with nothing else, and even worse, anybody even thinking about a VM must be deranged. None ...

Re: BI VERSION 5 ALERT SOUNDS
Hi, did you see my response in the BI-5 thread to your question ? I hope I have answered it there. I am surprised if you have alert sound for some but not other cameras - BUT - the BI5 to BI6 update did manage to copy my JSON commands into the correct new ALERT place, so maybe it copied some but not...

Re: BI-5 Upgrade
All new users - Please have a look at the new help file built in to BI5.
There is a LOT of good info there. Look for the question mark at the top left of the main screen.

Re: UVC G3 Dome
If it is a wired camera, I suspect it may be a network cable issue. Can you run a temporary cable to it ?

Re: BI-5 Upgrade
Hi sunraym1977, Yes! It records but alert warnings/sounds of any kind like version 4, what up with it? For this, we need the new help file. Checking..... OK, on the Alert tab for a camera, at the bottom, you will see a "Actions - On Trigger" button. Click it. Now press the "+" bu...

Re: BI-5 Upgrade
Are you saying that it does record the alert, but that there is no sound to notify you ?

My server PC
I thought I would write down the spec's of my BI5 pc so people can start to make a decision on what they can run BI on. I run a headless server (i.e. a normal pc without a screen) in my garage. I usually use "Splashtop" to remotely log in to it, unless a Windows update has managed to break...

Re: Blue Iris Rulez !
According to our local forum, you can only do that once. Looking at your link, it is also up to Ring to decide to replace it or not. That could get costly very quickly. I've had a look at how it is fitted, and it looks like one torx screw at the bottom of the front cover, then its normal screws to t...
