Re: Memory leak on version 5.8.0.5
Can also confirm this. I've seen BI use up to 10GB of RAM before randomly restarting, noticed this cause I have a game server running on the same machine that also uses up 9GB or RAM at times and would just crash due to "Out of Memory".

Re: BI 5 Feature suggestion thread
Feature Request: Record both Continuous and Triggered video for the same camera. This way you can record continuous files into "New" for, as example, 7 days and later only move Triggered files to "Stored". Saves a lot of storage. The current way is to clone the camera and set on...

Re: Continuous Recording but only move Alerts to Stored?
So there is no way to only keep Triggered video after a specific amount of time and I have to keep continuous footage for whatever days I set in the "Stored" tab? For Continuous Recordings, Alerts are 'pointers' to the alerts in the continuous bvr files, and not separate video files. Yes,...

Continuous Recording but only move Alerts to Stored?
Heya, is there any way to have the following setup: I want to Continuously record everything, however only want to keep those files for ~5 days. After those 5 days I only want to store the Alerts to save space that way. If that's possible, how would I do that? Afaik setting cameras to "Continuo...

Re: "Evaluation Version" Overlay seems to crash Blue Iris
Yeah, I just ended up moving my whole old Setup over incl. all the BVR files and it went really smooth. I "panicked" a bit too early it seems :) Downtime was only about an hour or so. However I made the mistake of importing the Failsafe backup at first which, for whatever reason, automatic...

Re: "Alt Framerate" in Record tab not being applied to recordings
Ah, yeah, not using Direct-To-Disk works now. Seems I just didn't have my settings right the first time when I tried and thought both options didn't work.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: "Evaluation Version" Overlay seems to crash Blue Iris
I've set up Blue Iris a few years ago and noticed that a few default settings over the years have changed, which I now would rather want to use than the old settings from a few years ago. I just wanted to try a fresh start and manually adding cameras and optimizing settings instead of trying to work...

"Alt Framerate" in Record tab not being applied to recordings
Heya! Currently moving my BI installation to a new Server and I want to enable Continuous recordings there. To save a bit of space I wanted to limit all cameras to only 3 FPS via the "Alt/timelaps Framerate" option. However, viewing and exporting the clip shows that it's still the original...
