Re: 2-way audio with HIK camera
Thanks for the replies, would be great to find someone who has got it working successfully with a HIK camera. Cheers When you're in the BI console and have that camera selected, you should see a microphone icon like this: https://i.imgur.com/a99aABM.jpg If you press the microphone icon you should b...

Re: Please help me understand alarm clip length
YrbkMgr, I have my make time set for 2 seconds, that I know. I'll have to check my wait time. So, my make time is 0.2 seconds, Pre-Trigger video buffer is 5.0 seconds, and break time is 10 seconds. So when there is motion for 0.2 seconds, the camera triggers and records 5 seconds before the event a...

DeepStack Cancels Alert -> Motion Detected in Hotspot
Latest version of BI. A person crossed a Hotpot zone (H) and Deepstack cancelled the alert. Deepstack analysis from the Status window shows that DS identified a person with 76 % confidence. As far as I can tell, that's almost never good... Any thoughts? I manually confirmed and flagged this but: Blu...

Re: Please help me understand alarm clip length
Check your break time - the amount of time to record after no more motion is detected. And your make time - the amount of time to qualify as "motion".

Re: Disable Webcast?
Great! Glad i was able to help! With regards to the values in your "Webcast" column. Its important to understand what these values represent first. The columns from "Motion" over to "No Signal" are counters. i.e. they will increment by 1 every time an event that matche...

Re: Disable Webcast?
@ Optimus You, sir.... are a rock star! You made the correct assumptions and provided exactly the information I needed. I implemented your suggestion and am as happy as a clam. The reason that I was so confused is because I know enough to be dangerous and have a plug-n-play understanding of LAN conc...

Re: Disable Webcast?
@ Optimus I only have one NIC, but several adapters. That's why I get so confused about which subnet for which adapter... here's my IPCONFIG output: Windows IP Configuration Unknown adapter NordLynx: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 10.5.0.2 Subnet Mask . . . . ...

Re: Licence key
I support the model.. as long as they continue to be responsive in reasonable situations. They give the ability to transfer the license and have a pretty high threshold at 10. I would be willing to bet that is rarely approached by anyone so this does help weed out the nefarious use. While the OP di...
