Camera flickers, superimposes different time...
Odd thing. Scrolling through the timeline, I see several cameras flicker, some at the same time, some at different times. If I slow down and manually scroll, at the flicker, during playback, It gives me like a single shot of a different time. Like 3-6 hours ahead, 1 hour ahead, I have to feather ver...

Re: Trouble with wired cam disconnecting...
Yea, definitely is puzzling. I've switched ports on the POE from restarting cameras and ones that don't, no change. Only pattern I can find are the fact that only the 8mp (and newer cams of the group) are the ones restarting, and it's always 2 hours dead on, with 2-3 minutes of reboot/restart time. ...

Re: Piecing together a BI build.. could use some help/comments..
The only way I could get BI to be seen on my android is setup openvpn on the router and get the openvpn app for android. Lots of logging in, not sure i like that. You clearly know your stuff as you are building the pc, but I think you are overcomplicating things with BI5. If BI5 is running on your ...

Re: Piecing together a BI build.. could use some help/comments..
Well, I'd like to know exactly how you see those cams through the TV. I currently have BI running on the same network, I'll get to migrating the cameras and PC to the other nic card soon. Wanted to get things up and running for now. The only way I could get BI to be seen on my android is setup openv...

Re: Piecing together a BI build.. could use some help/comments..
And now, I have the current build specs, parts are coming all week. Thought I'd list them here, and hopefully this weekend into next week I'll be assembling it. Might help later with more newb/help questions. Note - this build is more for fun, and use for other light programs, so I did not think I H...

Re: Piecing together a BI build.. could use some help/comments..
I saw the comments, thanks. Interesting setup, poe switch going straight, and only, into the Blue PC, correct? Are you able to see cams on your phone remotely that way, at least without a lot of logging in ? Another question, at least while i'm in my thread here.... I currently have a lorex NVR, N88...

Piecing together a BI build.. could use some help/comments..
Been using lorex nvrs for a few years, tired of the software they use. Here's my layout.... Home network, 40+ clients wired and wireless. Asus GT11000 router, 2 other asus routers in AImesh mode. All networking works fine atm. Lorex NVR is cabled to local network as well. I can view on PC, or switch...
