Re: Issue with new PC and BI
Now that you mention it, when I originally began setting this up on the I7, I had to input all of the cameras by hand. I then exported all of them to a jump drive, so I didn't have to reload them again. When I moved to the I5 laptop, I imported them. Again, with a much lower CPU usage. I have since ...

Issue with new PC and BI
I've run into a weird one here. I've installed BI on a clean new(refurb, Lenovo) PC. I7, 1TB drive, 32G memory, basic desktop machine. Windows 10 Pro. 36 cameras. CPU usage is constantly maxed out to the point the OS crashed. Tried new install, same results. I have a spare laptop with an I5, similar...

Is it possible to use demo version for setup
Hi guys, I've got my BI up and running on my server device, and is running with 26 cameras. Question i have is that once the powers saw it, they immediately want me to add 2 other DVR groups to the BI. I need somewhere to work while I get these other devices set up, and since my server is sitting in...

Re: Question regarding Lorex DVR
This line didn't work either. This is turning into a personal challenge. :) I've about talked the money manager into buying me 4 new IP cameras and another POE switch, if I do, i'm going to junk this system. I'm beginning to think I'm a gluton for punishment, I've installed BI on my work security sy...

Re: Question regarding Lorex DVR
What you've described is exactly my setup. Ive got a 2 conversion modules that communicates with 2 cameras each with a pair of BNC connectors that are connected to the DVR. Looking at the configuration in the remote application, I can't get to more than the first camera either. Odd. I'm starting to ...

Re: Question regarding Lorex DVR
I thought the same, but nothing has worked so far. I did locate the RSTP information on the DVR, but even that info wouldn't switch from the first camera. I have a spare unit from a second purchase, putting it into service had no effect. Looking it up in MAC database revealed it apparently made by R...
