Re: Why does Blue Iris continue to do business with Fenderman and Ip Cam Talk?
This guy has threatened to sue me because I said I would give his site a bad review. Welcome to the real Blue Iris forum. Yes, Blunderman a well-known crank; half the people here have either been banned from his forum or been harassed by him. No one's sure if his unhinged behavior is the result of ...

Re: "New" Setup and CPU utilization question
So i am asking for help if anyone knows where this setting is on my cameras. Lorex LNB8111-C Found this through a search on another site: turns out that that tho the UI is dumbed down, the underlying (Dahua) API still mostly works, so one can use commands to set things the GUI may not present, like...

Re: Alerts -> sound not working
Just for reference, these are my settings that work as expected in Win10. Maybe there's something different or disabled. I play the "trigger audio" alert sound from any given camera through several other cameras so I can wander around the house and still hear the trigger sound(s) if someth...

Re: Batch convert BVR to MP4
I guess the attached file got deleted? Anyone have it to reupload (File is attached below.) General Info BVR Converter converts Blue Iris .BVR files to .MP4 fideo files while preserving their original timestamp. It also typically reduces their size, in some cases dramatically. Converting to the MP4...

How-To: Make the Contour Shuttle driver persist through reboots
Adding this back into the forum since this was a useful tip that bugged a lot of folks. Making the Contour Shuttle Pro driver persist through Windows reboots Elevating the ShuttleDriver: 1. Open Task Manager. 2. Click the " Processes tab." 3. Find the " Shuttle helper " in the li...

Thank you for posting the screenshot.
Does this happen on all the cameras, or just some?

Re: elgato Stream Deck XL
Thanks, MikeBwca. Yes, this is what I've been doing too...uninstall, reinstall, etc etc. I thought I'd gotten it solved some time ago but then it started disconnecting again with each reboot. The BI settings persist through an uninstall/reinstall cycle, so at least there's that. I have my .pref file...

Re: Best way to Pool Drives
I may be wrong, but I'm not aware of any setting in BI that would allow you to pool drives or connect them as an aggregated virtual drive. I think that's best done at the OS or possibly the controller level. You can set BI so it moves clips from one drive to another based on a schedule, so you could...

Ever used the "NOSTROMO N50" as a controller?
I saw one of these the other day; the poster was claiming it was a decent alternative to the Contour Shuttle Pro controller. This is the Belkin NOSTROMO N50, a low-priced controller intended for gaming, video editing, etc. A couple of the users said it was useful for security systems to review foota...
