Re: Sometimes the icons inside the app are missing when launching BI 5 (screenshot attached)
@ ahmadmob Is BI running as a service and if so is the account that you’ve logged onto the same as set within the service? He's asking you how you are running BI. In the Settings dialog of BI, the startup tab indicates whether BI runs as a service (at Windows startup). He's asking you if that's chec...

Re: DeepStack Cancels Alert -> Motion Detected in Hotspot
I appreciate that input. I've changed that setting and will have to wait to see how it does. What I abhor, however, is this constant "guess and check" method of analyzing and tuning.... That said, I'll post back with an update to the changes you suggested and also when I get additional inp...

Re: DeepStack Cancels Alert -> Motion Detected in Hotspot
problem is not with deepstack but rather with coordinates of motion that were passed from blue iris Yep. I think you're on to something - and maybe that's where the timings of the AI Trigger play a role. Just like your example, DS identifies a person yet doesn't confirm the alert. So... I'm working...

Re: Test and Tune Motion and Deep Stack Review Orange Frame
I'm still researching but here's what I've concluded so far. 1. The analysis provided via the .DAT file is different than when using Test and Tune/Analyze with DeepStack 2. The documentation available to understand the DeepStack Tab in the Status Window is either sorely lacking or written for an aud...

Re: Recover login info user/password
Are you referring to the password set on the Startup tab from the program settings window?

Re: Snow Flakes at Night Trigger Record Event
Another strategy is to create a clone or a different profile for night that uses different settings for motion detection. If you run your false alert clips through the camera (test and tune context menu), then you should be able to evaluate triggering events and tweak the settings. It's a "gues...

Re: Recover login info user/password
I'm in the process of setting up remote access to my blue iris server and during the process I realized I've forgotten my login info. Just to be clear, do you mean login info for your camera(s)? If that's the case, there are at least a couple of ways to retrieve the info depending on your situation...

Re: Test and Tune Motion and Deep Stack Review Orange Frame
To explain this sentence. I meant when watching a continuous recording with motion detection on from under the test and tune menu, if I see the orange frame around the entire clip viewer I would have thought I would find either a canceled alert or a confirmed alert clip corresponding so a few secon...

Re: Home, Away, and Night with Geofencing
Well, you're not alone... it gets many twisted. Your scenario is what I would love to implement myself, so while I don't have the answer, I'll be watching this to see how it evolves.
