Re: Some cameras go down at the same time every night.
I found the problem. It was with the Eero network. Eero. helped me with this. The units need to be 25 feet to 45 feet apart and no further. Some of my Eeros units were too far apart. The network performs ACS during slow periods, usually at night and some of the cameras would not come back on Blue Ir...

Re: http:12002 timeout
Thanks for the comeback. All of my IP addresses are static addresses. That is one of the first thing I do when I install a camera. This morning I only had one camera down and checking the EERO app, I found it was still online when it showed a timeout. I used to assign a different port to each camera...

I am running Blue Iris 5.8.43 x 64 on a Beelink PC running Windows 11. Other than a browser and Office 365, this computer is not being used for anything but Blue Iris. The browser and Office 365 are not used unless I am working on cameras. I use Spectrum for the internet and stream TV to an LG WEB o...

Re: Some cameras go down at the same time every night.
Good point about the continuous streaming. I wonder if the smart switches are continuously streaming also? we use smart plugs on many table lamps and in most cases, we have no issues with them. We use Caseta switches and they have a bridge of their own. I like the Ultra Pro switches because they are...

Re: Some cameras go down at the same time every night.
I get random disconnects at various times. I just set up the logs yesterday and will check disconnects and reconnects tomorrow. I have found that many times I get a disconnect I do not get a reconnect. Thus all the cameras have an Ultra Pro smart plug on them. If a camera disconnects and does not re...

Re: Some cameras go down at the same time every night.
Thanks for the thoughts. My WIFI network says it can handle over 100 devices and I am in the low 70s. Plus, the cameras are dropped almost at the same time in the middle of the night when traffic should be light. I lose cameras at all times of the day and night, but usually, it is random cameras at ...

Some cameras go down at the same time every night.
I have 12 cameras (All Foscam IP cameras. Most of the outdoor cameras are G4 cameras. There are several cameras that go down every morning at approximately 3:30 AM. All of the cameras on the system are hooked up to a smart plug. The exterior cameras have 2 or more cameras on the same smart plug. In ...

Re: Multiple Local Area Networks
HeneryH Maybe I am not clear. I want network 1 to be only cmeras and Blue Iris on a dedicated PC with nothing else. Then Network 2 would have the cable apps for the TV, my everyday computer, iPad and iPhone and the same for my wife. I guess my big question is can I have the two network share a modem...

Multiple Local Area Networks
Would it be possible to create a separate local area network for Blue Iris and the cameras? I am running 10 Foscam cameras and the rest of the network appears slow. I am using Eeros mesh router. Can I have both routers connect to the same modem? I am just trying to improve the efficiency of the netw...
