Re: Newbie questions
What version are you currently running and have you paid for it yet and does it show you still have time before the support expires or are you running the demo? If you bought it and entered the license key and have support left it should update itself just by clicking update in the check for updates...

Re: Help with expanding system
I don't have a HikVision so I can't suggest what to use other than to try multiple options I have some of my cameras set to Generic ONVIF/RTSP and the RTSP option with /cam/realmonitor?channel={CAMNO}&subtype=1&authbasic={AUTH64} in both the main and substream although subtype=0 on the main ...

Re: Deepstack not ready for prime time
The goal for me with detection has always been reducing the number of 'non interesting' alerts, while also having a general level of confidence that I am not missing anything 'interesting'. This has been what made me interested in DeepStack as well, I was seeing too many false alerts due to shadows...

Re: Push notifications not working Android
Each alert on each camera can be set to only be active for certain profiles. The push alert on that camera is active for the profile it's currently on?

Re: DeepStack AI setting to store unrecognized faces
Thanks, givin that I'm thinking that facial recognition isn't likely to really work with the placement of my cameras as they are about 7 feet up and it's rare we walk straight at one. Doesn't really matter, DeepStack is doing what I need it to in regards to false detection elimination, I just though...

Re: BI Deepstack: Not triggering alerts (nothing found)
First did you uninstall any older versions of DeepStack and download either the CPU or GPU version? After that the default port in DeepStack seems to be 82 so you shouldn't need to do anything other than turn on the AI global settings in BI which should start DeepStack automatically which you can te...

DeepStack AI setting to store unrecognized faces
I setup my global AI settings with face detection and to store unrecognized faces to a Faces folder but after a lot of captures today that folder is still empty. I haven't added any faces manually yet, my idea was to use one of the captured images and upload it as a named face, maybe I have to have ...

Re: Minor glitch
I updated both servers again today and no issue with either so I'm guessing that message will only come up in very specific instances that most people hopefully won't run across.

Re: BI 5.4 built-in DeepStack Integration
I had AI Tools running as a service but when I wanted to see what it saw I didn't bother stopping the service as starting it manually never seemed to start another and I could check what I wanted then close it again without affecting the system. However whenever I wanted to add a new camera or make ...
