Re: CUDA Errors with YOLOv5 Object Detection on CPAI 2.5.x – Seeking Insights
Looking good ! With "Reliability History" I had used a program called "WhoCrashed" and went down that rabbit hole. People at the time said they would have thrown it out of a window due to those multiple failure modes   well, just goes to show hey, how persistence and p...

Re: CUDA Errors with YOLOv5 Object Detection on CPAI 2.5.x – Seeking Insights
I previously found the .NET version faster with the GTX1650, but I haven't had time to test it yet with this version of CPAI. Your results will be interesting, but I need to get some days of data and use Excel pivot tables to tease out the truth. As for the stability of this BI5 pc, it was a long h...

Seeking Advice: Configuring Blue Iris to Detect Smoke Alarm Sounds
Hi everyone, Is it possible to setup an audio event in Blue Iris that would trigger when say a smoke detector goes off? I've read through the manual and noticed there's a mention of audio triggers and states the following on page 66: "Here a signal generator was used to provide a proper frequen...

Strange Computer Ringing Sound at Sunset Time
Hello I'm having a very unusual issue with one of my computers where it makes a ringing sound exactly at the time the clock switches to sunset according to British Summer Time (BST). Yesterday, the ringing occurred at 20:09 BST, and today it happened at 20:11 BST. This has only started happening in ...

Re: Query regarding overallocation and lost footage despite configured free space
I've identified the option... I'll observe the outcome. To be fair, if one isn't transferring footage regularly, then a modest amount of free space should be adequate, one would assume. I've designated a specific hard drive for my 4K camera, which ought to accommodate approximately 30 days of record...

Re: Query regarding overallocation and lost footage despite configured free space
Thanks a lot for the advice, IAmATeaf! Looks like I’ve got some tweaking to do with my setup to keep things running smoothly.
Quick question: how do I assign specific cameras to different hard disks? Can’t seem to find that option anywhere in Blue Iris.
Cheers,
SN

Query regarding overallocation and lost footage despite configured free space
I am reaching out for support regarding an unexpected issue I encountered with my Blue Iris storage settings. Recently, I reconfigured my storage settings and started from scratch to maintain at least 10GB of free space on both 'New' and 'Stored' to avoid any potential overallocation. However, to my...

Re: Troubleshooting Foscam R4M Freezing Issue with CPAI Motion Detection
The latest and greatest v5.8.8.8 Also noticed after I posted this yesterday that another camera in home is freezing seconds after detection ! That camera doesn't have a substream so it'll freeze on the interface and when it finally refreshes ( couple of mins ) the footage is there as opposed to the ...

Troubleshooting Foscam R4M Freezing Issue with CPAI Motion Detection
Hello 👋 I'm dealing with an unusual issue with my Foscam R4M camera, and I'll do my best to explain it clearly. Lately (only noticed this last night), when the camera detects motion (though it doesn't always happen as it appears intermittent - it happened last night at 23:33 and this afternoon at 15...
