Without re-encoding it you won’t be able to reduce the quality but BI does have options for continuous recording of the substream until a trigger when it will switch over to the main stream. This can save a lot of space depending on the substream settings.

That is how clones are supposed to work. So BI is only pulling single streams for the main and substream and the clone is making use of that. Yes you can. Go to the main Settings page and on there there should be a button to Export settings in the top right of the tab.

BI won’t really care providing the existing disks appear with the same drive letters in the new system.
If you’re going to be binning the i7 I’d be interested in giving it a good home My current PC has an i5-6500 so would make a nice update.
