Using BI as a cloud server
Has anyone tried or know if we can link BI to a camera that is not on the BI network and use BI as a "cloud". Most cameras today can run without a DVR and they allow a micro SD card to be inserted into the camera that can be used to record video. The new cameras can also record to a cloud....

Adding a speaker and mic to an amcrest camera
I have a Amcrest IP8M-FCT2999EW-AI it is a 2 way talk camera. It works with BI as expected; however the speaker on the camera is not very loud. It has both audio in and audio out RCA jacks. I am assuming that I can add an after market microphone and an aftermarket speaker. Is there any reco on where...

Re: Over quota error
Excellent advice to divide the cameras between the 2 disks. This will result in a huge performance improvement. Prior to your suggestion I did not understand that I could configure each camera to store on a different drive. I also increased the storage to 8000GB per drive. All looks good thank you!!...

Re: Over quota error
Thank you this is helpful. Just fyi I have been looking in the help area before posting my questions. I have a better understanding of the over allocation issue and how to view drive allocation in BI. The information in this thread is also helpful. Yes, the drives are installed internal to my BI PC ...

Re: Over quota error
I only set the limit to 10GB for new & 10GB for alerts that I am storing on my C drive which is 500GB. When it hits 10GB it moves it to My V drive. The videos can stay on my V drive for 8 days then they get moved to my z drive for another 8 days.

The delete and regenerate finished but the drive over quota error is still there. I checked the log but do not see any mention of a quota error in the log

Over quota error
I am running W11 with 16 GB ram 500GB c drive and 2 12 T video drives. I am doing some tuning so I moved my BI New and alerts to the C drive, then I deleted and regenerated the DB. Under Bi Storage I limited the size to 10 GB for New and 10 GB for Alerts and I clicked the clip age to 0 days 4 hours....
