Re: recorded clip playback issue

Another handy clip viewer feature is the single camera list feature which will populate the list with the camera of interest only. Select the camera in the main frame and then click 'Selected Camera Only' at the top of the clip list between the calender icon and the down arrow. Select a different ca...

Re: Hardware / Software Two Different Locations

first concurring the configuring stated in my red typeset OP is my first priority; so as to get it off my mind. The Dell box is perfectly suitable for your basic initial purpose with an Intel i7 4790 and the WD 4T HDD. Ditch the AMD scenario and additional GPU baggage as neither are recommended or ...

Re: Topic images do not appear.

Gotcha. I'll leave all the sordid details to the lost thread, but I've never needed to resort to RTMP for the few Reolinks I've had -- which is down to just my quite nicely functioning 811A now (after implementing the recent beta firmware cited in what is likely another lost post). I'd like to try a...

Out of curiosity, (and a bit off topic), what problems were you experiencing using RTSP?

Re: low fps on UI3 with some Reolink cameras

It's not likely just a Reolink issue as many folks would like to fall back on as the problem. If you have them working at all in UI3 you're ahead of the game. Don't be tempted to start messing with their settings just to satisfy an inconsistency in their UI3 streams. Be happy they're working. Differ...

Re: Pre-Trigger Record time

My leap of faith after a couple of previous upgrade disasters was to 5.7.4.2 from 5.5.7.8. Pretty ballsy, but my support/upgrades was due to expire and I figured what the hell..., I'll have a year's worth of versions to try until I find one that works or can just return to the 5.5 if all else fails....

Re: Pre-Trigger Record time

That's a conditional disclaimer with no technical or logical explanation.

And isn't that the version that pissed everyone off with the pre-trigger 'enforcement' that has since been revoked?

Re: Pre-Trigger Record time

What does pre-trigger record time have to do with the key frame interval of any vendor's products..., let alone just one particular one? You need to ask Support but from what I understand it’s supposed to give BI those additional seconds to hit an iframe in the hope that the recording for an alert ...

Re: Topic images do not appear.

I'm having problems configuring my reolink 810A... What particular problems are you having? I've run an 811A off and on for three years and finally have it working well after discovering a recent beta firmware upgrade that fixed a few things, primarily the incessant lag. Be more than happy to take ...
