Thanks Tim,
You mention the scenario I am trying to create - light only comes on in dark when triggered and goes off in x minutes. Will try to get my head around the logic and syntax!
Thanks again

Can't send alert message to Homeseer on same PC
Am using BI - latest v5 updated a few days ago - and have 14 cameras set up and functioning well on a dedicated i7 PC - about 9% CPU with substreams etc. One of them is an EZVIZ DB1 which triggers an alert when people get into the relevant area. Some while ago I managed to configure an IFTTT / Webho...

Re: Random IP addresses
Henery,
Thanks for suggestions - have not tried Linux - it is on my hit list. If this lockdown continues much longer, I may well find the time!

Re: Random IP addresses
Mike, Thanks for info. I have static IP addresses for all cameras and kit on the home network using the router to bind IP address to the component MAC. I have also specified a range so easy to see anything "new" on the network as it would appear outside of the set range. I also keep a sepa...

Re: Random IP addresses
Thanks Mike,
Will also have a look at your bat file. Part of the issue I have is that two of the cameras are for "nature" and in bird boxes for grandkids and friends to look at - so often have no idea what their IP addresses would be!
