Re: Is anyone recording Weather, Police, Radio, into BlueIris?
Way over my head! Even if I did understand all that, I would preferer not to have a 3-4 layer method of getting this into BI. I've found that the Brodcastify savable links are only good for a short time. I suppose I could get a police scanner, and route the audio output into the mic jack of a camer...

Re: Is anyone recording Weather, Police, Radio, into BlueIris?
You could capture broadcastify output using a command line tool like curl, wget or mpv by setting an Alert event to call the tool. If you then wanted to incorporate that audio into the video it could be done with ffmpeg.

Check the webserver advanced settings page to make sure nothing needs to be changed there.

Re: Hi-Res Alert Images vs Database Ony
For me, I must have "physical" jpg images created because I use those as thumbnails for a web page that I programmatically create every 24 hours. The web page shows me what happened overnight with thumbnails that are clickable links to exported mp4 videos.

Re: What made you choose BI over alternatives
I still use others from time to time, but the BI plus points are: CPU usage us quite low when set up appropriately. Camera Groups/Views. Playback interface is very good. Http and Json API's are getting near complete. Various tools like alert sms, external commands and scheduling activities following...

Re: Am I the only one who would like Hotkeys for camera groups?
Yep, I want to see that. I switch groups a lot so I wrote an HTA app with buttons that make curl calls to change groups. Here is a single line example: curl.exe http://192.168.1.xxx:xx/admin?console=Yard".

Re: WriteBlueAlert no bitmap 0
I've started getting the "serious" error "WriteBlueAlert no bitmap 0" at about 5.5.1.9 or so. I get it on my camera that is using deepstack and I manually change profiles while it's in the recording state. I think the error message is referring to the trigger zone becoming unavai...

Re: Alerts not showing in list but are recording
I have been trying to get help from the BI support but so far no luck getting anything back. The issue has occurred again on a different camera. I have noticed that by stopping the BI service and starting again then the Alerts start to appear again. This has happened 3 times now in the past 6 weeks...
