... and safe every hour one file. That escaped me initially. Apologies for my subsequent non-applicable advice! This is a pretty good overview of the general structure and associated options and techniques for managing what you record. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7veBRr6msbk Home Tech Video is ...

Re: Problem with continuos recording
I'll let the other guys handle it from here. A couple other steps are involved to achieve what you want to do and they're better equipped to explain them.

Re: Problem with continuos recording
I only have one hour record, then it overwrites it again. I don’t want that..., Disable the 'combine or cut' option or enter zero for hours and establish your storage parameter by size only. Not quite sure how that will tie into your existing storage layout, but seeing those settings will indeed be...

Re: Why does Blue Iris continue to do business with Fenderman and Ip Cam Talk?
IPCT sells a lot of Blue Iris subscriptions for the developer and is also the premier resource for Blue Iris information on the planet. Take it or leave it for what it's worth and only engage at your own risk.
The End.
The End.

Re: Help! No Cameras following Switch from OpenReach to Full Fibre
You most likely will need to switch the TP-Link network to the new router's address space vs. the other way around. Quite a few considerations involved security-wise but that should at least bring the IP cameras back up.

Re: RTSP streams - re-encoding / use substream?
Gotcha. UI3 does indeed re-encode, though is somewhat manageable depending on bandwidth availability and end point platform. Why not just directly access the original camera streams from HA? Out of curiosity, a quick search turned up the following here: https://blueirissoftware.com/forum/viewtopic.p...

Re: RTSP streams - re-encoding / use substream?
What I need, I guess, is to get the camera substream directly, no re-encoding, no anything. ' Make sure 'direct-to-disk' recording is enabled in BI to use sub-streams effectively and ensure they are properly identified in BI's configuration for the camera. This should do exactly what it sounds like...

Re: Alert and motion setup advice
The short rundown on my motion sensor settings for this camera is they're primarily for night time activity and work well detecting a cat or raccoon coming up the driveway almost from the road. But they also think a bug is a pterodactyl and the short make time isn't very forgiving in that regard! LO...

Re: Alert and motion setup advice
Well, I just spent 3 hours putting a post together that immediately vanished when I submitted it. The basic gist follows since I had the sense to do the first half with WordPad..., just in case. Unfortunately the essence of the thing was the second half. This also needs to be posted in two parts due...
