Re: Statis object detection
I haven't tested this... but... does it make sense? Or am I way off base? 1. Unzone that area where you park the car from zone A. 2. Define Zone B with that same area you park your car. Either overlap a bit into Zone A or use another zone to overlap A & B. 3. In AI Static Analysis, add the objec...

Re: Turn Camera On/Off Remotely
In the phone app... In the cameras list (Not the camera view), Long-Press the camera to bring up the cameras settings. At the very top is 'Enable'. If it's 'ON', tap to disable. If it's OFF' tap to enable. Another option... Further down in the list is the Pause button. Press to pause the camera for ...

Re: Break time ignored when AI is enabled
Have the same issue and contacted BI support. They tell me it is because the alert page has "New and all retrigger" selected. So I changed it but still had the same problem. Then on AI page I also unchecked "New alert/analysis on retrigger after cancelation". Now it seems the al...

Re: Break time ignored when AI is enabled
In that case, I will need to find a different camera security software at least comparable to BI. It's sad that BI has changed the algorithms on how alerts to Ai timings are processed. But then, I'm taking advantage of all options within BI. I can't be the only one using BI in this way. Once I get n...

Re: Break time ignored when AI is enabled
Update: The alerts changed to 1 minute 17 seconds. Recently, they changed to 20-26 seconds - No explanation why. Same settings, same version 5.8.9.5. These same alerts on my main system on version 5.8.0.14 are between 4 and 11 seconds. I've had an ongoing case opened with BI support. I just sent the...

Re: Reset PTZ brightness setting back to default/unspecified
Sry. Here's the reg entry. 1. Copy to a .reg file. 2. Change 'MyCamera' to your camera name. 3. Double click the .reg file. You may have to shutdown BI first. I can't remember. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Perspective Software\Blue Iris\Cameras\MyCamera\PTZ] &quo...
