Re: Camera layout order is different for local vs remote viewing
Thanks for the reply Mike. I went back into my server and updated Blue Iris. It's now working as expected so I think there may have been a bug in the earlier releases. I was able to replicate the issue before on a couple Blue Iris systems that are completely independent of each other prior to this l...

Re: Camera layout order is different for local vs remote viewing
I am using a camera group that I created called "all". Confirmed both UI3 and the mobile app are viewing the "all" group.

Camera layout order is different for local vs remote viewing
I have a Blue Iris system with 30ish cameras on it. In the Blue Iris console, the cameras are arranged logically as one would walk through the building. I don't know exactly when the issue started but it was around the time v5.5 was released. Now, when we view the cameras using UI3 or the mobile app...

Re: Add more than 64 cameras in one installation
Is it possible to pull a loaded train with a pickup truck? I ask this question because it's similar to what you're asking. You're asking to do something that is FAR outside of what Blue Iris was designed to do. That being said, you have two options. You can play within the 64-camera limit and run mu...

Re: DeepStack 100 Error
I had this too after one of the recent updates. In my case, a restart (not shutdown) of the computer fixed the issue.

Re: Replacing a video clip drive question
Here's what I've done in the past: 1. Install the new drive 2. Create folders for whatever video you want on the new drive 3. Start Blue Iris and go into the settings and point the data storage to the new drive 4. Copy all of the footage from the old drive to the appropriate folder(s) on the new dri...

Re: Bad Switch?
I probably don't need to say it but in regards to cable, avoid CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) wire at all costs. It's horrible. Make sure all cable is pure copper.

Re: So really, what's the sense of using BI
Definitely agree with what everyone else is saying. Either something is wrong in your config (not using or using the wrong hardware acceleration for example) or your PC hardware isn't ideal. Make sure you're using an Intel CPU that supports Quick Sync and have your hardware acceleration setting in B...

Re: How do I set a camera to turn off at night?
You need to use a combination of profiles and the schedule. Think of profiles as behavior sets for Blue Iris. You'll probably at a minimum want two profiles, one for daytime use and one for nighttime. In the settings for each camera, you can choose whether or not that camera is active during each of...

Re: RLC-410-5MP quits working at night .
I would think that it is something with the camera. Is there a firmware update available that you could install and see if that helps?
