Hi Rick, just my thinking what I would do, normally cameras have a built in web page you access through a browser, can you access this while only on wifi?

Most cameras end up with different IP addresses when cabled / wireless, could it be that?

Not sure if it's relevant, but I had a similar issue with BI not performing as I expected (crashing, failing to webserve, overallocating as files weren't being moved) and couldn't pin it down, but then the primary drive went (SSD) so I rebuilt on the storage HDD and it's working fine again. Perhaps ...

Thanks Tim,

It's a strange one, I can't see why it times out on normal Chrome page but works fine on incognito page. I'm going in over the internet, not on the same LAN.

Amazon are doing this one for £99 as a black Friday offer, I got one and it's also really good (though I haven't installed it yet, only had it hooked up to BI to check it works). PoE not WiFi.

Google Chrome

Not sure if it's only me that gets this issue, however I can only access the web page of the server in Chrome when I use an incognito window for some reason. When I try with a normal window it times out. Anyone had this issue and resolved it? It's a minor annoyance as incognito doesn't save the user...
