Re: BlueIris compatible doorbell camera recomendations
If they don't do ONVIF or give a RTSP feed, then BI5 will struggle with them. Did you take a look at the wifi version of the Reolink camera ? The POE version is thought of as the Holy Grail of doorbell cameras, as it is relatively cheap, has POE and it works with BI5  I have mine on an isolate...

Re: BlueIris compatible doorbell camera recomendations
I ran into this review while searching: https://www.vueville.com/home-security/doorbells/best-wireless-video-doorbell-cameras-recommendations/ It recommends the Amcrest AD410 which (they say) works with BlueIris! They also say it's dual band which is GREAT because I just bought a 5Ghz Wimesh system....

BlueIris compatible doorbell camera recomendations
I've got a LaView LV-PDB1630 that I'm using for my front doorbell and it keeps dropping its connection so I'm losing a LOT of footage. I have a first-generation Hikvision DS-HD1 on the back door and it works great, but my only complaint was that the video quality/resolution isn't that clear. So I wa...

Re: Help with troubleshooting LV-PDB1630-U doorbell that displays "No Signal" frequently
Ok, I did some research and found that the LaView doesn't have a web interface so there would be nothing to hit on port 80 I guess. But I'm still curious as to what you changed as you can't actually change anything on the camera as it doesn't give you any access to change any of the settings (all of...

Re: Help with troubleshooting LV-PDB1630-U doorbell that displays "No Signal" frequently
TrunkMonkey, did you happen to remember what settings you changed? I also have an LV-PDB1630-U and BI just can't seem to connect to it reliably lately (it's been fine for about a year now) and I just can't figure out how to get it to remain connected. I don't think the problem is with the camera as ...

Re: Trying to play a sound file for call alert, but I get "Modem cannot play audio; disable option."
I was trying to use the BlueIris "Make a Phone Call" alert. It says that I need a modem connected in order to use this feature. According to the manual, it requires "A PC modem with a connection to your sound card and a TAPI hardware driver are required." I purchased a USB modem ...

Trying to play a sound file for call alert, but I get "Modem cannot play audio; disable option."
I purchased a Conexant USB CX93010 ACF Modem for my BlueIris system, but when I tried to set up an alert to play an audio file, I got a "Modem cannot play audio; disable option." when I tried to test it. Am I missing something? What modem has ever never been able to not play audio? Why wou...

Re: What device is required to make a phone call?
Wow, that's quite the setup MikeBwca! I would have to go with a wifi camera, which I don't have, to put into my bedroom with speakers. I did some reading and I found that any modem would work to call out. The problem is finding a modem that works with Windows 10. Luckily I found a USB modem for $20 ...

Re: Different Alert Actions Based on Profile
Yep, that did it for me! Thank you!
I just find the profiles/schedules and how they work with the recording and alerts so confusing (unintuitive maybe?).
Thanks for the easy to follow tips!

Re: What device is required to make a phone call?
Yeah you can set an override for an app, but I leave my phone on vibrate all of the time and the single vibration isn't enough to wake me up, but if someone calls and it keeps vibrating, it will likely wake me up.
