Doh, I found it (at least I think I have). The 'External' checkbox in the 'Trigger sources and zones', apologies. I was focused on ONVIF and External was checked on my other cameras (which I guess do not send external triggers). I would still like to understand what that 'external' message comes fro...

Thanks for the feedback. I do have CPAI enabled but I thought that was only used after a triggering event (like motion detection). The camera does have ONVIF but I don't want to use that and would prefer to just use blue iris motion and CPAI (unless that is a bad idea, I am new to this stuff) for tr...
