Ken does read this forum. But, the official way is to Email support. Have you emailed support?

He was supposed to interact with me this AM at 9 using Teamviewer but didn't show up. So, yes, I've tried email support and still waiting on Ken. He'll need a new pw for the teamviewer as it changes for each program start.

We just got off of teamviewer and he has fixed the issue. He pulled another copy of v.64 down to my PC and updated it again.

As of now, my reboot has BI5 coming up automatically as it should. I also don't have to keep clicking multiple times on the BI5 icon to get it to run the program.

It seems to be fixed. I don't know what the cause was or what the cure is.

He flogged the registry a while and then pulled the .64 down again from the BI server and reloaded with it. You might try to reload .64 and see if it helps.

If .64 didn't fix your problem, try the help via email link inside of BI5.

After updating to version 5.0.0.65 x64, it looks like my crash issues are resolved. I am running Blue Iris version 5.0.0.65 x64 as an application, not as a service. I have closed Blue Iris 5 (console) multiple times and re-launched it successfully with no crashes. I will be monitoring Blue Iris memory usage over the next day or so to see if it climbs, which is indictive of a memory leak.

Here is a history of crashes by versions:

v5.0.0.57 x64 - Good, no crashes
v5.0.0.58 x64 - Good, no crashes
v5.0.0.59 x64 - Good, no crashes
v5.0.0.61 x64 - CRASHES
v5.0.0.62 x64 - CRASHES
v5.0.0.63 x64 - CRASHES
v5.0.0.65 x64 - Good, no crashes

Crossing fingers, banging on wood.
Blue Iris v5.9.4.4 | Win10 x64 version 22H2 | Dahua IPC-HFW2100, Amcrest IP2M-841W, Hikvision MINI PT DS-2CD2F52F-IS, Edimax IC-3030iWn | Intel i5-8700 CPU, 16GB Ram, Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD, WD Black 1TB HD.

Thanks for the update. I made a note to avoid those 3 versions - if I should ever down level after I decide to upgrade to v5.

Glad it's working for you again. Ken's BI support is awesome.

From reddawg's posts, it may be that there were a few versions (.61 - .63) that may have had some issues! And, you just happened on one!

Also, Teamviewer is awesome. I've used it for years for my home system, and from time-to-time, logging into family & friends system to fix misc issues.
