I renewed my Iris 4 support to Extended, so that I could install ver 5. I had read online on the BI website that this is the way to do it for existing customers.
I then followed the "How to upgrade" post in the forums. After installation of ver 5 it came up in demo mode. When I tried to activate it using the license key I received and says it is a support key, not a product key. Now when I try to use it, when click on “demo” to use it, and it says I have zero days left in the evaluation and won’t run. So now my system is down! BI Tech support has not responded to my email yet
Is there a prescribed process for getting this to work?
One thing i'm thinking of is to:
- unistall ver 5
- reinstal ver 4, activate it using teh Extended support key
- reinstall ver 5
Are there better ways to go about it?
