Upon further review, I looked at the properties of the file he downloaded and it is V.65. So I'm running 5.0.0.65 and it works just fine.

I am running Blue Iris version 5.0.0.65 x64 as an application, not as a service. I have closed Blue Iris 5 (console) multiple times and re-launched it successfully with no crashes. I will be monitoring Blue Iris memory usage over the next day or so to see if it climbs, which is indictive of a memory leak.

Here is a history of crashes by versions:

v5.0.0.57 x64 - Good, no crashes
v5.0.0.58 x64 - Good, no crashes
v5.0.0.59 x64 - Good, no crashes
v5.0.0.61 x64 - CRASHES
v5.0.0.62 x64 - CRASHES
v5.0.0.63 x64 - CRASHES
v5.0.0.64 x64 - CRASHES
v5.0.0.65 x64 - Good, no crashes

Crossing fingers, banging on wood.
I had v64 and it also was a crasher

Update: since updating to version 5.0.0.65 x64, no crashes and memory usage has not climbed over last 8 hours. I conversed with about half a dozen other people having crashing issues with .61, .62, .63, .64 and they are all proclaiming success with v5.0.0.65.

Can you start a new separate thread for your issue? This thread was for a different issue. It's multi page, and difficult to go back and view your posts.

I've just made the time to do some updates. BI5 up to 5.0.0.65, and all cameras working well. Reboot twice and all starting OK. I then went for the Win10 1903 update. Crikey that took a long time ! When the server rebooted, most programs still worked OK, but BI5 had lost my two old analogue cameras. They are plugged in to a Eurysys Piccolo Pro 2 card, so off I went for an updated version of their Multicam software. Installed, and all cameras back to normal. Pretty uneventful after the palaver you guys have had
