Vimtag Outdoor Camera

Post by Vequalsir »

I bought one of these outdoor cameras to test in my network. Reviews indicated that it worked with BlueIris. That is true to some extent.

Listed in the features of the Application is a place to set the ONVIF username and password. I also had to change the discovery port to 80. Blue Iris finds the camera while performing an inspect and loads the main and sub feed URLs. The URL contains the camera ID and an access token,

This token seems to change at odd intervals. Because this changes the URL, it breaks the feed. Doing the inspect again will resolve it. Is there some way to automate this?

Well that's a new one on me :o

Are you able to turn off the token authorisation and just have a static user/pw, or is that a bad idea for you ?
