I'm thinking of installing w10 on my PCs so I thought I'd take the opportunity to shuffle them around if it's beneficial. I want to run BI on a dedicated machine. I have the following CPUs on hand:
i5 4690k
i5 3670k
E5-1650 v3 (3.5ghz Xeon 6 core w/ HT)
I'm currently using a hod-podge of cameras, about 20 ranging from 0.9-5 MP (uses about half of the 4690k's cpu which also doubles as a work desktop). I realize some newer CPUs are more efficient but we heat the house anyways 8 months of the year.
Which could cpu of the three would you use?
Three CPUs on hand - which is recommended?

Hi melias.
From my perspective, you already know the cpu load with the i5-4690k, so the cpu load should be higher with the i5-3670k. The E5 is a bit harder to understand, but https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/I ... 7093vs2311 shows it to be a little slower than the i5-4690.
From those three cpu's, i would stay with the known performance of the i5-4690k. It will give you a little headroom if you add any more cameras.
