Hello,

I am looking for a camera that mounts directly on a wall so the lens points directly away from the wall (ie not down to the ground or to the side but straight ahead). I also need it in black so it is less obvious. And finally it would be helpful to have a zoom function.

Is there any camera that addresses these requirements? I have dahua bullet cameras and have looked at adding hikvision but can’t find anything suitable.

Most turret-style cams can be adjusted to look straight ahead.

The Reolink 420 can be mounted with its back to a wall and the camera turret can be adjusted to look straight out.

I bought two of these and painted both of them black after lightly roughing up the outside surface with some Scotchbrite. I used a heavy-duty automotive spray paint and put two coats on, 24 hours apart. The paint was a gloss paint, so I added a third coat of clear matte finish to kill any shine.
