Audio channel keeps disabling at random

Post by freqsounds »

I have an issue where the audio keeps getting disabled randomly. I can't figure out what's causing it. This is my camera configuration when it is working.

When it gets disabled, Enable audio channel becomes unchecked. I have to go back in and check the box and click OK. The gain is set to 200% because the audio is too quiet normally. I haven't seen any issues with hiking it up to 200%. In troubleshooting, I've left it at 100% but it doesn't fix the issue of the audio channel disabling.

I have 5 cameras total. This is happening on 2 of them. Another 2 do not have audio channels, and the last one has been disabled. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I have the exact same issue. Audio is working if I access the cameras directly, but Enable Audio box gets unchecked in BI Camera Settings. Happens on several cameras.

register here just to confirm this bug. I have 1 ipcam (wifi), when it reconnect, the audio is always disabled. I have to go to camera config and re tick audio stream to enable again.

Can you guys send an email to Support and let us know the response ?

Is there anything in common here, like all being wifi cameras or anything ?

Mine are wifi and hardwired, and are different brands.

EDIT: Just watched it happen when I rebooted the camera. Comes up with audio unchecked. My cameras reboot early each Monday morning, so that would explain why so many were unchecked today.

Maybe audio was not enables prior to the last camera profile save?

1. Enable audio.
2. Save the camera profile. Also, save the BI Settings.
4. Disable/Enable the camera. Or, wait to see if this happens again.

After doing this, does it keep disabling?

Just came to say that I'm also seeing this issue. Sent support an email, not that I had any details to add, just reporting the problem.
