Hello,
I have been using BI5 for a while and this problem has been happenning periodically but today it got worse so I think I may ask here...
I setup an email alert for all my cameras when motion is detected.
Today I got that email from camera "X" (as stated in the email body) but instead of just 10 images from that camera X, that email had 30(!) images (3 x 10) from three different cameras ("X", "Y" and "Z") in my house.
Is it a bug or I am missing something?
This is my settings for the camera that was triggered (as per email body):
Thank you!
Email alert has images from multiple cameras
Re: Email alert has images from multiple cameras
A few things come to mind that may be doing this...
- Do you have a Group named of 'newgarage'? Names must be unique. I prefix my group names with a unique qualifier, like 'gp-'.
- Change the 'Camera/s' to '(default)'. You only need to specify a camera if you want a different camera image other than the camera that triggered the alert.

Re: Email alert has images from multiple cameras
Thanks MikeBwca but no, I don't have those you mentioned.
However I noticed that that happens when more than one camera is seeing the motion.
I have two cameras looking at my frontyard (from two different points) so when the motion happens - more often than not it is detected by two cameras simultaneously.
I think this is when I receive one email with images from two different cameras mixed together, whereas I would expect to receive two separate emails from two cameras with images separated.
Not sure it is a bug or feature.
