Blue Iris 5.8.4.2 Crashes When New Clips Start Recording

Post by johnbrian2 »

The last few days, Blue Iris has been closing down on its own every time new clips start recording. I have eight cameras running with codeproject AI, and continuous recording broken down into three eight-hour clips each day - midnight, 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Per the Windows Event Logs, it crashes every day at 12:00, 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Has anyone experienced this?

The previous two posts are spam. Hover over the periods at the end of the sentence and they are hidden links.
You can also see them if your attempt to quote them in a reply.

TimG: Thank you, both sorted. If you see any more, please report them with the exclamation mark and I will smite them.

Don’t have a fix but why have the clip files so large?

I have mine set to 1 hour or 1Gb, the reason being that if I need to save an unaltered/unedited clip then I only need to worry about saving a 1Gb file.

When I try and notify of spam from within Tapatalk it asks me to login even though I’m logged in and logging in just presents the same login dialog?
