Re: Are recordings and alerts supposed to tied to each other?
How are you controlling the profile change, built in Geo-presence or some other method and have you verified the profile is changing appropriately? Also do you even want motion triggers active when at home, if not you wouldn't want the away arm synced to the home arm as you'd want to turn off the mo...

Re: Does BI Support exist??
Like Henry said whenever I've emailed them I've included the text the app gives you with version and licensing info and they've emailed back in a day or two. You may also want to check your junk mail folder to make sure the reply didn't go there for some reason.

Re: VPN
If he is accessing public WiFi it makes sense to enable VPN on the mobile device - like connecting to the WiFi of a coffee shop or airport. I don't use the mobile app so I have nothing to contribute from a troubleshooting perspective. True of a VPN like OpenVPN but CyberGhost sounds more Ike a web ...

Re: Camera ou Appareil Photo
If you only want it to record on motion you'd set the record tab to record video When Triggered and then set the Trigger tab to a source of Motion Sensor you'd need to do that for each profile you want it to happen on or just make sure all the other profiles are set to Sync with Profile 1.

Re: Windows 11 requirements - Bit of a shock !
You can override the processor check to upgrade to Windows 11 or just install on unsupported hardware, the problem is supposedly their security updates for Windows 11 will check and not apply to unsupported hardware.

Re: Android push notifications for 2 of 3 cameras suddenly stopped working
Push alerts have stopped a few times in the past due to certificate changes or other backend changes that require you to update your BI server version. I noticed the current stable release said something about alerts in the change log.

Re: Setup on alert and trigger actions by profile
Those profiles are supposed to determine when that specific alert is sent. What version BI are you on currently? I have mine setup to send MQTT on any profile to activate the virtual motion sensors on my home automation hub and only send push notifications for evening and night profiles. Although I ...

Re: Compatibility with Kangaroo Cams
I don't see ONVIF or RTSP listed on the specs so I'm guessing it is a proprietary IP camera that will only work with their service and app.

Re: UI3 vs client (fps)
BI client as in the phone app or the Blue Iris server interface? If the server interface it will refresh video every 5 seconds over an RDP connection otherwise if you're viewing it directly it should give you the full fps. The phone app should give close to the full fps as well as long as there isn'...

Re: Prepackaged Solution with Blue Iris Compatibility
I haven't used their app or online plan but Amcrest cameras work well with BI, get a DHCP address by default and should be able to join their cloud plan until you have the time to get BI setup and the cameras moved over. I have an outdoor camera and a few indoor ones from Amcrest that have been wor...
