Hey all,
My setup is using continuous sub + alerts. Can someone tell me what the difference is between that and continuous sub + Triggers? I guess I'm not understanding the difference. Is it just a matter of if you have alerts tied to the trigger?

Second, max rate is 21 FPS. I have stream buffer time set to 60.00 and a pre trigger record time of 60. I'm getting between 120mb and 1.1GB per hour. Does that sound right for one camera? (1080p) Im recording direct to disk, the camera is h264. So im not using hardware decode. Should I be? Is there a way to tell if im recording both streams all the time? When I playback something its low res until the trigger, and then bounces to high res like its supposed to, but does that mean its also still recording the substream as well?

This is just 1 camera. Im trying to get it dialed in before I set up the rest of the cameras.
