Hello,
I've been trying for a few days to install a Logitech c922 USB camera on Blue Iris, but I can't seem to get more than 5 fps at 1920x1080 resolution.
My issue is very similar to this thread that seems to have been abandoned by its author. This camera apparently requires the use of MJPEG compression to supply 30 fps at 1080p (this is also mentioned in the Blue Iris documentation). However, when I apply these settings in the "Advanced" tab, the output stream remains at 1080p 5fps, and the previously modified settings in the "Advanced" tab revert to the following values each time I reopen the tab:
FPS: 30.000
Compression: YUY2
Size: 640 x 360
The camera has been tested on G-Hub, Logi Capture, VLC, and the Windows Camera utility, all of which can natively display the stream at 1080p@30fps without any issue. So far, I haven't found any other solution than using the Logi Capture stream as source for Blue Iris. Unfortunately, this obviously consumes much more resources and also prevents me from running Blue Iris as a Windows service.
I've tried many (too many) things without success, and I must admit I'm starting to lose hope. Is there a savior among you?
