Android App Crashing - Unusable
I have just tried installing the Blue Iris app on a Samsung Galaxy S24 with Android Ver 14. The app installed and starts okay but as soon as I click on a camera in the left pane to bring it up, the app completely crashes and android reports a message that the App contains a bug and to contact the de...

Re: The video stream was lost version 5.9.2x
I have been running Blue Iris since version 3.66 many years ago and have only ever used direct to disk with BVR file format. Never really had any significant issues with this. However, if you want to save video clips to send to third parties for any reason, you do have to export to mp4. Are you usin...

Re: The video stream was lost version 5.9.2x
Strange ... the filename and location that appeared in the dialog you posted earlier doesn't match with the filename format that your camera screen shot shows? Re: BI locked up
There was a memory leakage issue appearing in some systems which would eventually cause BI to lockup / crash. this has been fixed today in release 5.9.2.3 so give that a try if you're still having the issue.

Re: Alerts not being recorded
In the Camera AI Alerts page, there is checkbox option to do "Static Object Analysis". If you turn this option on, the system will periodically analyze the scene looking for static objects and then in subsequent motion events, it will ignore those objects found in the static scene when the...

Re: Database seems corrupted
Your problem sounds vaguely reminiscent of a problem I had with BI back about last September. I had a huge database and I don't remember the specific details but your problem sounds like it might be similar. At the time, I believe support suggested using "Combine or Cut" on the record tab ...

Haven't been able to recreate the issue with 5.9.2.3 which has now been made available for download and installation via the update screen in BI.

Re: Massive Memory Usage
Good news ... Have received a beta from support for testing and it appears to have resolved the problem. Will report back again after a day or two.
