Re: Blue iris 4 or 5 does not load anymore, no splash screen
Done everything in the link.. also uninstalled reinstalled ... still the same. Right now to keep my security running I am using isky software... I'm actually liking it. Hopefully someone can find a better fix... the internet is filled with blueiris users having the same issues. I wondering if your ...

Re: Compatibility issues with Windows 10 20H2?
DOES ANYBODY SEE ANYTHING IN THOSE RELIABILITY REPORTS THAT INDICATES THE CAUSE OF THE BI CRASHES?? Not really. I am not familiar with an AppCrash specifying StackHash as faulty module. That being said, I would recommend trying the following below: 1) Make sure you have excluded Blue Iris folder pa...

Re: Blue Iris 4 database repair options?
I ended up deleting the old database (renamed folder) and created a new folder with the service stopped of course. My reason for even posting here was I did not know if this would delete all of my camera settings or not. I do not know if all of the camera setup details are in the database or not. A...

Re: Blue Iris 4 database repair options?
I would try exiting from the Blue Iris 4 console, then stop the "Blueiris" service in Services.msc, then delete the contents of the DB folder in C:\BlueIris\DB, restart the "Blueiris" service, re-launch Blueiris.exe console and then manually repair the database. FYI: To manually ...

Re: Amazon Echo
Amazon Alexa integration with Blue Iris has been depreciated and no longer works. Blue Iris used the "discovery" model in Alexa to control cameras by emulating a Smart plug instead creating a Skill app. I believe Amazon has depreciated the "discovery" model used by Blue Iris. I d...

Re: Trouble with zone crossing and motion detection
Hmm, interesting. I can think of a couple of things you might want to try. 1) Disable the high-definition detection 2) Clear all and Re-draw your zones. There seems to be a gap between your Zones A and B. Try overlapping them? When you have 2 zones (A & B), they should not overlap. A third zone...

Re: Trouble with zone crossing and motion detection
In addition to IAmATeaf suggestion, try turning off "Object size exceeds" in Camera Settings -> Trigger -> Motion Sensor or increase it from 20 to 65. The "Object size exceeds" settings stops or resets a trigger if the object size is too big, like a lighting change. If the percen...

Re: Whats the deal with updates
Count me among the frustrated. Where can I find each specific older version to download? Apparently I need to downgrade mine to whatever was current the day before my one-year support expired. This link has a repository of Blue Iris Updates for current and older updates: https://ipcamtalk.com/tools...

Re: Diagnosing Computer Crashes
Take a look at "Reliability History". Type it into the search bar. It keeps a record of failures. That was one of my biggest helpers in my recent pc fiasco. Thanks Tim, I did not know about "Reliability History". That's actually very useful. I like that it shows App crashes and ...

Re: Windows 10 slows down...
I've been pulling out what's left of my hair trying to figure this out. My Win10 pc's (Used as 24/7 servers) slow down over a few days, and become unresponsive. A reboot sorts it out, but it can take many minutes for the pc to shut down. All pc's have Malwarebytes Premium, and run Acronis True Imag...
