Camera sync not effective on some items, but not available either
Can someone please confirm my understanding. This comes from experimentation, and I do not see it documented. Or, maybe documented. When I sync camera B to camera A, and do so on the trigger tab, and on the alerts tab, there appear to be aspects that are not sync'd. For example, on the alerts tab th...

Re: BI stopped calling AI - no errors, just stopped?
Well done. My gut feeling was right, but I missed that in your settings, as it IS ticked in mine. It does make it clear how to use ONVIF triggers with CPAI though, which I will look into with my (Mainly Dahua) system. Yeah. A prior "gotcha" I found is that with ONVIF events only, if your ...

Re: BI stopped calling AI - no errors, just stopped?
I found it. Mea Culpa (but you knew that).
In BI "motion detection" refers only to it's own (except in one place for zones).
I still don't know why I could check use GPU before and now cannot. But I'm getting confirmations/cancellations again.

Re: BI stopped calling AI - no errors, just stopped?
Weird ! OK, lets have a look. What we do know is that it was working until you adjusted everything, so it must be a setting ! Oh, I think it's absolutely something I changed, I am just completely stuck on what. My GUESS is that it's two or more things, which has kept my attempts and un-changing or ...

BI stopped calling AI - no errors, just stopped?
Running BI 5.9.4.11 x 64 with Code Project 2.6.5. This was all working fine together, I got 4 new cameras and decided to clean up and make the config consistent and somehow, somewhere in doing so I broke something. Here's the problem -- everything appears to be working, no errors appear anywhere I c...

Re: Your Satisfaction Level with Blue Iris 4K Performance
It occurred to me I probably should not have posted what I did, because I only run 4fps so I can have a reasonable file size and keep 30 days or so of full time recording. So there's a lot less horsepower required. Though I have run 24 (+/-) fps to test briefly. I'm using Empire Tech IPC-T58IR-ZE-S3...

Re: Your Satisfaction Level with Blue Iris 4K Performance
I had a lot of trouble with Empire Tech and BI at h.265, but changing to H.264 solved it. I ran 7 4k cameras at my last house on a pretty old I7-6700k without issue, am now putting up new ones a mix of 8mp and 4mp, no issues with performance, CPU loafs.

Re: Empire Tech Camera setup advice (Dahua, IPC-T5xIR-ZE-S3)
Thank you, but I have the basics set up, I was asking for people's experience with things that work better/worse on the deeper options relating to motion, IR, etc.

Re: Empire Tech Camera setup advice (Dahua, IPC-T5xIR-ZE-S3)
In my case, I found that IVS was so reliable alerting on people and animals, and I had zero false triggers in the couple of weeks I've been testing this, that I just didn't need cpai (and BI motion) at all. Plus I get alerts faster this way. Of course this approach is based on having all the cams t...

Re: Empire Tech Camera setup advice (Dahua, IPC-T5xIR-ZE-S3)
Thank you. My understanding is that you do not use AcuPick at all. (assuming you do not use a Dahua NVR) ...just disable that and enable IVS and draw trip lines and intrusion, set for Human and/or Motor Vehicle and/or Animal, disable motion and cpai in BI, make sure Onvif is enabled, and it just wor...
